Volunteer Attorneys Needed for This Week's Saturday Legal Clinic
The April Saturday Legal Clinic will be held this Saturday, April 9th from 9:30 am to noon at the main library (3030 Poplar). A scheduling mix up occured and there is no longer a sponsor for the clinic. That said, volunteer attorneys and support staff are desperately needed to fill the void. If you have thought about volunteering in the past but just never got around to it, here's your chance. Attorneys of all practice areas are needed and a handful of experienced volunteers will be there to assist you if a matter arises that is out of your realm of expertise. Each month, volunteers assist 100 plus Memphians with their legal troubles. Initiated by the MBA Access to Justice Committee in the fall of 2007, the Saturday Legal Clinic has become a valuable resource to those in need in our community. If you have questions or would like further information, contact Linda Warren Seely at 901.523.8822 or email@example.com.
