Young Lawyers Needed for MALS Phone-A-Thon Nov. 13

Every year, Memphis Area Legal Services (“MALS”) calls on local attorneys to help them cover the deficits in its budget. This year, the YLD is committed to increasing the number of young lawyers who support MALS with a monetary donation. The amount is not as important as instilling the importance of giving into our newest members of the bar. Will you commit to not eating out next week and donate the money you save to MALS? Better yet, will you help us call on other young lawyers to pledge their support toward funding the great work that MALS does day in and day out? MALS is having a Phone-A-Thon on Wed. Nov. 13, 2013 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and we are looking for young lawyers to fill shifts throughout the day. Even if you can only give an hour or two of your time, we would greatly appreciate it. Calls lists and suggested talking points will be provided, but volunteers are also welcome to make their own pitch. If you would be interested in assisting with the Phone-A-Thon or other fundraising efforts for MALS, please contact Nicole Grida at 901.417.0536 or
